Immediate Hire - Payroll and HR Specialist
The Snohomish Conservation District is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organized Payroll and HR Specialist to provide part-time support during an upcoming parental leave. This temporary position will play a key role in ensuring timely payroll processing, accurate employee records, and smooth day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate has strong payroll experience, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Development and Communications Director
The Development and Communications Director serves on the executive management team and provides strategic leadership for the District’s Capital Campaign and beyond. Initially, this position will backfill the Education and Outreach Department Director for a 6-month parental leave, and will also serve as the Development and Communications Director. Duties for this position include programmatic oversight, staff supervision for the District’s Education and Outreach Department, and planning and overseeing the execution of a capital campaign and comprehensive fundraising program. The Education and Outreach Team consists of community engagement, adult and youth education, and media specialists supporting all SCD programs including Agriculture, Habitat Restoration, Green Stormwater Infrastructure, and District Operations.

Washington Conservation Corps - Field Crew

Serve outdoors throughout Washington
Serve on a field crew: (5‐member crew + 1 supervisor)
Plant native trees & shrubs along streams, rivers & forests
Support salmon recovery & habitat enhancement projects
Construct backcountry and urban trails
Mitigate and restore wetlands
Clean up marine debris
Construct bridges, boardwalks, and other trail structures
Improve campgrounds & parks
Participate in seasonal spikes, as available (8 days on, 6 days off service schedule)
