Snohomish Conservation District has certified farm planners who will visit your farm for free and offer suggestions based on the goals you have for your property. In some cases, the District may even be able to help cover the cost of improvements to your farm.

Whether you have livestock, crops, horses, or something in between we can help with the following:

  • mud and manure

  • pastures

  • fencing

  • off-stream watering

  • heavy use areas

  • drainage

  • nutrients, fertilizing

  • and more!

Even if you’re worried that you might be doing something wrong, don’t hesitate to to call - we’re non-regulatory and here to help.

Disaster Assistance Program

The Washington State Conservation Commission has activated the Disaster Assistance Program, a short-term disaster recovery financial assistance program for farmers and ranchers who sustained physical damage to their Snohomish County agricultural operations or incurred expenses as a result of flooding December 5 and 6, 2023. It may partially reimburse eligible disaster recovery expenses or fund the implementation of best management practices (BMPs) that restore or increase disaster resiliency.
