Farmers Needed to Share Thoughts on Agriculture in Snohomish County

What are your thoughts on how agriculture in Snohomish County can be resilient to future changes? The Conservation District is sponsoring a project called Photovoice where farmers will explore topics such as:

"what are the major obstacles facing agriculture today?" "how does climate change potentially impact your operation?" and "what kinds of things can we do to help maintain a healthy agriculture community?"...but through photos.

In a series of 4 short workshops, farmers will learn about photography (how to tell a story or convey a message through photos) and provide the District with valuable information that will be incorporated into an Agriculture Resilience Plan for the County. Photos will be displayed at several venues and used to inform policy makers and local decision makers.

The first workshop is coming up - Saturday, April 1st, 9:30-12:30 in Everett! If you are a farmer in Snohomish County, call Cindy Dittbrenner at 425-377-7005 to register or for more information.
